Since my laptop randomly shut down and ate my post, I'll have to sum up.
1) Being on campus = weird
2) Being in a room full of fledgling queers = damn near nauseating
3) The film Sahara = visually really awesome + surprisingly very enjoyable + highly recommended
4) The film Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events = God awful bad + worst film I have seen in a while + if I had seen it in the theater I may have demanded my money back
I think that was everything.

Damnable Fledgling Queers!
I thought A Series of Unfortunate Events looked like it was going to be good. Only saw previews, though. What was so bad about it? I'm curious now, so you'll probably be responsible for my watching it now, too. Look what you have done!September 16 2005, 03:24:50 UTC 6 years ago
Totally!
They added this half-plot about the children's parents being in a secret society and then never explained it. That was irritating to me to the max. It was lame and served no purpose. Then they tried to say that life is still good despite everything, which I think is not exactly what the books are about. You should read reviews at rottentomatoes.com, an excellent site with mostly informative reviews. (If they are from the Kzoo Gazette, ignore them. Those people are complete jackasses.)September 16 2005, 20:31:54 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Totally!
Rotten Tomatoes usually seems to be pretty well on the mark most of the time, though every once in a while they shuck a few head-scratchers through. Mostly on target, though.September 17 2005, 03:32:06 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Totally!
I think Jim Carrey was one of the best parts of the movie, and most of the positive reviews said he was the worst.September 17 2005, 17:00:11 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Totally!
Yeah, I usually like Jim Carrey. Especially in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."September 18 2005, 02:16:36 UTC 6 years ago
